This Stitchtite meditation stone is from the Zeehan Tasmania deposit, famous for Stitchtite which was discovered in a railway cutting in 1910.
This is a lower grade specimen with fractures but great colour and character.
The back surface is raw and shows the un-finished character of the sample.
The Mountain Ash or Tasmanian Oak grows in the same area as the piece comes from, driftwood from a Hydro lake.
