Stanley #6C~Corrugated Fore Plane~Type 7~Circa 1893-1899~VGC For Sale

For sale is a vintage Stanley No. 6C, corrugatedbottom fore plane. The plane, a Type 7, circa 1893-1899, is in very goodcondition. No rust anywhere on the plane, japan black on the body and frog isapprox. 95%. Rosewood rear handle and front knob have no cracks, checks orbreaks, only some minor nicks and scratches. 1892 logo on the cutter iron isfaint but still readable. Cutter iron at 7 ¾” long is nearly full, originallength. Cap iron still has 100% of original black oxide finish on theunderside, a rarity on any plane, especially one that is probably over 125years old. The cutter iron has been ground to a 25˚ cutting angle, sharp andready to use.
