Stainless Spittoon with Hinged Lid - Cuspidor

The spittoon, also called a cuspidor, was a receptacle utilized by tobacco chewers and dippers during the late 18th and 19th centuries. Communal spittoons were commonplace in public spaces, while smaller vessels were used personally. Our stainless spittoon with hinged lid is an example of a personal spittoon, made exactly like the original except without the rust issues. It has a low bowl and handle for carrying. The lid is lifted by the use of a thumb lever. In addition to being a fine spittoon, it may also find other uses for containing or carrying various liquids.
