The first cave at Dambulla is known as "Devaraja Lena" — the Cave of the Divine King — and features magnificent depictions of gods and celestial beings gathering before the Buddha. She is the founder of Eco Pack, a sustainable craft business specializing in handmade goods from banana fiber and recycled paper.

Both the frame and backing board of this artwork are entirely handmade by women artisans from a rural Sri Lankan village as part of Nilanka's community craft program.
