Good condition, with light side-to-side blade play. The blade has rust specks and scratches but is free of nicks and chips. The front bolster has light scratches.The front Micarta scale has a few nicks, including several on the butt end. The back Micarta scale has tiny nicks along the spine and belly, as well as a dent and a few tiny nicks near the pocket-clip screws. It also has a dent and several small nicks on the butt end. The front stainless-steel liner has a few nicks on the butt end. There are no pin cracks or splits.
Spyderco C42P Howard Viele folding knife features a 3-3/8\" clip-point blade made from VG-10 stainless steel with a plain edge, hollow grind, and satin finish. The handle features a stainless steel bolster with a polished Micarta overlay on the front and a full-scale matte-finished Micarta overlay on the back, along with stainless steel liners. The blade opens manually via the Spyderco thumb hole and is secured by a Walker liner lock mechanism. It includes a right-handed stainless steel tip-down pocket clip. The open length is 7-3/4\", and the closed length is 4-3/8\". Made in Japan. No box included.
