Excellent Near-Mint Condition that is everything wonderful. Gold is unbroken, complete and shines brightly. Whites are Hollywood dentist white, colors are vivid and finish is glossy. A true no excuses 9.75 / 10.0
Why did we deduct 0.25? To see on the side of caution. We cannot find anything wrong with this bowl; in our eyes its perfect. Best one we've seen all year however 10 out of 10 is a unicorn rating so we're going with 9.75...it's he new 10.0 :)
We inspect each piece in OCD like detail so as to offer as complete an assessment as possible. We have the pattern as our own china as well so we are rather obsessive and know the line. We look to ensure each dish/bowl/plate is free of soap residue or any cloudiness on the finish, no improper handling is evident or signs of improper storage. As well, we inspect under very bright hand held LED light in both directions (front/back) looking for any hairline cracks, chips, crazing, marks or color flaws. We FEEL each piece for anything on the finish that doesn't glide or is rough. We accept pieces that may have a slight flaw from light use or even some minor shelf wear (and we'll disclose this to you, if found) however our general rule is we will present such examples only if the one small flaw is not going to be obvious on your table. If so, we will include this information in the description and adjust the price accordingly. We will not ask someone to pay Mint or Near Mint prices for anything that is not just that. We compete with larger organizations that do not have the razor thin margins of a small business as us however we will always win the competition on Integrity. Always. Bottom line is that while we do sometimes present an 8.0 to 8.99 that's special, historically we represent 9.0 and above pieces 99% of the time.

We utilize clean recycled boxesthat have been used one time prior; most all from an Amazon delivery to a corporation. (We have a wonderful source that saves these boxes from going into the trash of the mailroom as they are nearly new and remain serviceable.If a really new box is preferred, we are happy to provide onefor $2.00 (small), $3.00 (medium) or $4.00 (large) and hope that either way you will join us in our recycling effort by passing it on to a recycler local to your area after use.)
While the shipping box may not be pretty, we can honestly say that what's inside IS and its been well packed for its journey.
Using recycled boxes is not only good for the planet....its good for each of us because it saves us both money! And we have to watch every last penny because with taking a cut of the purchase price, sales tax (yes, even gloms part of the sales tax to their pockets!) and the shipping charges (yup, grabs of piece of those as well) we are left with razor thin margins and do 95% of the work while does near to nothing. Not bad work if you can get it. But you can't because Customer Service is offshored from American workers. And yet we still pay the same commission percentages as when employed workers in the United States. No discount. And who really pays for this? Buyer and Seller, certainly not . We would be fine with the percentage rates as is if they went in part toward U.S. jobs. But to offshore simply to moreshore an already respectable bottom line is a greed we do not understand. Yet you and I are made to pay for it nonetheless. We believe its important to remind people about this. Karma.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:We love to travel and have been to many wonderful countries and met many amazing and gracious people on those visits. So while we wish we could offer international shipping, the process is simply too complex for us to implement given the number of countries that we might receive buyers from. We feel there would be too much room for error. So at this time, we are serving Canada and United States customers; possibly expanding in the future to include others. HOWEVER..if you are using shipping or forwarding service with a US address, we're happy to send your package there as long as it is the address on record for your account at the time of your order. We are unable to change the shipping address after the order has been placed.
