The material I use is a plastic like filament called PLA that is made of plant material. What makes this material so fantastic is that it is 100% biodegradable in a landfill and is created from renewable resources. PLA has far less of an impact on the environment in comparison to petroleum-based plastics, clay, and ceramic.
