Tres Chic! I love the color of this one; it\'s not black, though in photos it looks like over-exposed kurotomesode usually do. LOL. This piece is a true slate gray; the pigment is fantastic and super rich. It\'s like graphite almost, there feels like there may be a blue component, but I\'m not sure. Maybe I\'m getting old and blind. LOL.
Really delicate and understated painting on this one; the flowers are both cute and sophisticated. This is a simple but high quality piece. Really nice chirimen kinsha, awesome texture and drape. I\'m listing this at a fair price considering the condition on this piece is outstanding for its age. This is the gold-standard for crepe chirimen; please, if you feel I\'m off my rocker, please message me and tell me as much and provide me an outline how this piece\'s silk content if parted out for crafting isn\'t worth my asking price. This piece, is however, wearable. Good clean lining, the body is near flawless. I found a couple small marks and a snapped thread against the back at the obi line. This is a pre-war piece; probably early 1920s by the sizing of the kamon but has been retailored at some point. Sleeves are standard length at 49cm and will make dressing a breeze. She is a bit petite in length.
