Singer 301A Beige and Tan Short-Bed Sewing Machine. This is a beautiful two-tone beige and tan 301A, gear driven sewing machine. The serial number is NB134347 which tells us it was created in Anderson, SC approximately in 1956.See the great features of machine in my photos.
They call this machine the Featherweights big sister because it weighs 16lbs, compared to the Featherweights 12lbs. One of its benefits is a slant shank which allows better visibility of the needle and sewing area. It makes threading the needle much easier. It has no belts because its gear driven and a much stronger machine that needs little maintenance.
This machine comes with a zipper foot, extra bobbins, needles, oil and grease for maintenance and a copy of the manual. There is no case for this machine.
The machine has been fully serviced and sews a beautiful stitch. Overall, it is in very good condition with very little wear or scratches. The cords are in good condition and the light works.
This machine is available for pick-up or can be shipped. If you are picking up, I have a table that fits this machine and will list it if you are interested. The table is for pickup only.
