Here is what I know and believe:
I got this at an estate sale, an old man (art collector) died. This could be very old? I took off the back and there was some newspaper from China 1986, but this does not truely date it. It just makes is VERY likely to have been from 1986 or before. There was a sign on it at the estate sale that translate the message. \"Great Achievements Will Last Forever\"
ALSO
When I had the back off you could clearly see the back of the metal panel was silver. This should mean it is solid silver? I would think that silver-plating would not be done to the back of something that would never be seen?
