Beautiful signed studio pottery vase with a tall, narrow form and a soft neutral glaze that shifts from warm beige to smoky gray-blue around the rim. The darker glaze breaks into long vertical drips down the body, giving it that nice handmade “controlled accident” look studio pottery does so well. The neutral glaze has some very interesting flow patterns that add interest to the piece.
The vase measures approximately 11\" tall and 4\" in diameter. It has a hand-applied artist’s mark on the underside, though I have not been able to confidently identify the maker, I\'m pretty sure it says \"Glover\". The form and glaze feel late 20th-century studio-made.
This is a great piece for a shelf, mantel, entry table, or minimalist/organic modern interior. Works nicely as a standalone vessel or with dried stems. I’d recommend using a liner if displaying fresh flowers.
