This is a signed, hand-carved hardwood bust sculpture, marked on the base:
“JWI MADE – ART – by I Roach”
This confirms the piece is artist-made studio folk art, not mass-produced décor.
The sculpture is carved from solid hardwood with a polished natural finish, showcasing rich grain variation and expressive, stylized features. The form and carving style suggest Caribbean or African-inspired folk art.
