Scarce 1870's John Greenleaf Whittier Cabinet Card George K Warren Cabinet Card For Sale

This antique cabinet card of famous "American Quaker poet" and abolitionist John Greenleaf Whittier dates from the late 1870's or early 1880's and measures approximately 6 1/2" x 4 1/4".It is in great shape for its age, with some minor wear and very slight toning. (The pictures do not do it justice!) It has a great crisp original portrait photo of the poet with publishers stamp "Warrens" on the bottom left. The rear has a publishers stamp for "Warren Portraits 465 Washington St Boston" with the words "John Greenleaf Whittier" and "The Quaker Poet" written on the back. This is an original cabinet card by famed photographer George K Warren - not a reproduction! Fresh from an upstate New York Estate!
