Up for sale is a Samurai Champloo Layout COPY. Episode 5, Artistic Anarchy (images 1+6, which are taken from the anime, are to show where in the anime this scene occurs. It is not an something you will receive). PLEASE NOTE - there is a faint crease line as seen in image 5 (red arrow indicators). It is quite hard to see, unless viewed at a certain angle, but I want to make this loud and clear
IMPORTANT - this is a primarily photocopied sheet, with the green/red coloring being hand drawn. Do not be mistaken though - although this is a photocopy, this item was directly used in the process of making the 3 second shot, where the artist adjusts Fuu\'s kimono. And this piece is far from something one might see in a mass produced photo copy packet (ie \"setting\" packets, etc).
The general process is: Layout(hand drawn) -> Layout(copy) -> genga -> douga -> colored in digitally
And unlike a gengas/dougas, which are somewhat made on a frame by frame basis, there would only be one layout copy for the sequence; which in this case is 3 seconds long (noted by \"time(3+0)\").
If you follow Samurai Champloo production material, you will know how rare they are. Many believe that with the bankruptcy of Manglobe, much of the production material went down with it - but who knows. I say this without bias - visually, this is the best piece of Samurai Champloo production material I\'ve seen, and the price reflects that. I don\'t mind keeping it.
Please be aware, due to the nature of the item there may be natural production aging/damage (yellowing, creases, etc). Please look closely at images to determine condition. Coloring may be slightly off due to lighting.
