Samuel Marti was one of France's most prolific movement makers, and supplied clock makers all around the world, including to the UK and to the US, as well as France. He was based in Montbéliard from around 1840, in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. In the 1860s he went into business with Japy Frères and Roux, relocating to Paris.
Pendulum, bell and key will be wrapped separately in box. The clock with be double boxed for safety in shipment.
