These items are fresh from a NC storage locker that belonged to Biond Fury (aka William Tuttle Jr). The locker is full of Hollywood & Entertainment Art and Ephemera. Fury's story will lead you down quite the internet rabbit hole.
He was born and raised in NC and after graduating Duke he moved to NYC changed his name, proclaimed himself a psychic and became host of a public access television show. He also started a record label and a band called Black Limousine.
Fury became the longtime companion of artist Jaques Lipchitz's widow, Yulla Lipchitz, who was also a famous Sculpture, Artist and Photograher in her own right. With Yulla's financial help he became a mover and shaker within the pop culture and entertainment collectibles circles.
Biond Fury was a frequent customer and consigner with Christie's, Sotheby's and Julien's sales. He owned several of the Beatles automobiles, John Lennon's suit and was a massive collector of Marilyn Monroe items and memorabilia.
