Looks great from any angle and may be placed anywhere! Globes have been a sign of culture and education for centuries.
The individuals who possessed maps were the most valued
and knew, literally where they were and how to get places.
When Ghenghis Khan pillaged and burned villages, his
adviser, implored him not to destroy maps or
scrolls and as a result had the largest collection of maps
which facilitated the Mongols widespread travels. Leaders and statesmen have had globes in their living
spaces prominently displayed, as a symbol of their influence
