Up for sale is a breathtaking, museum-quality vintage American quilt featuring a classic 1930s Pansy Bouquet floral appliqué design. This spectacular piece features a large central medallion bouquet of beautifully layered pansies, framed by scattered matching floral sprigs and a striking scalloped edge finished with a delicate pale blue binding.
The craftsmanship is entirely handmade and features exceptionally dense, precise hand-quilting stitches running along the white ground, alongside charming pink hand-embroidered accent details emphasizing the depth of the flower petals.
