In daylight, this dense Sterling Hill specimen shows a dark granular matrix of tightly packed franklinite grains threaded with pale calcite and pinkish-brown zones, with reflective mica flakes catching the light across the surface. The overall look is heavy and ore-like, with plenty of natural glitter from the mica.Under shortwave, the specimen bursts into a dense interlocking mosaic of brilliant electric green willemite and vivid red-orange calcite, the two colors woven tightly through one another across the entire face while the black franklinite stays dark and carves sharp contrast between them. Under longwave the balance shifts, with the calcite deepening to pink-red and the willemite settling into a softer green against the darker overall field. Fluorescent coverage runs edge to edge rather than concentrating in one zone, making this a strong all-around display piece at two pounds.⸻🌍 Composition
