Offered today is a stunning Savinelli Eleganza 614 full bent Billiard with their 6mm filter system. When this series released, I was sold right away. It’s funny too, I absolutely love the 614. I have tried many Oom Paul pipes and full bent pipes for when I need my hands free for yard work or typing etc, and I always come back to the 614. It’s light in the jaw, hangs so comfortable, and a good size for all around use. I have a few including this very model here. Some lines for the 614 have the bite area thicker but this Eleganza is rather flat which I prefer for comfort and clenching. I also will use
Softy bits and this doesn’t make it feel too thick either.
The natural finish with the faux metal spigot styling and this beautifully shaded blue on the stem and at the end of the shank make for a handsome pipe!
This is one of the nicer 614’s I’ve had too aside from a Punto Oro and Giubileo d’Oro but every bit as beautiful if not more. This pipe has some very nice grain with flame coming up from the base and Birds Eye on the sides with a cross grain rim I always love.
This pipe is in very clean condition and no issues to report. It’s very near mint but don’t take my word for it. Take a look at all the photos I took. The natural finish is so nice on this piece.
It’s cleaned inside and out, gently buffed and freshly waxed with carnauba, followed by a gentle buffing with a soft cloth. The pipe is ready to smoke. - P

PACKAGING:
I’m sure I take more time than almost everyone in packaging and I do not spare any expense. Each pipe takes me 10-15 minutes to pack. I’ve yet to hear of any pipe arrive damaged. With few exceptions, my pipes are always shipped as one piece. It requires larger boxes and more materials but the most famous pipe makers insist it’s better during shipping for climate acclimation and not having pipes apart for too long.

At a minimum, I do everything possible to make sure the pipe is at its best and packaged well. All pipes are carefully inspected, cleaned, gently buffed, waxed with Carnauba and the stems are hand polished and oiled as needed. For a decade, I’ve put all I have into these pipes, packaging and more. I really enjoy it and my fellow hobbyists.

I spent a lot of time planning every little part and unboxing experience is important too. I’ve never had a pipe arrive damaged either.
Pipes are almost always shipped as one piece. This is far better for the pipe, particularly with climate changes during shipping.
Expect replies during normal business times. I reply as fast as I can, but if it’s the weekend or middle of the night, it may be a bit before I’m able to read and reply.
