Product Description: Bring a touch of rustic character to your living space with this early Columbia Family Scale with original black paint by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Connecticut. Constructed of metal with a circular, open-face with a glassless front, this scale showcases its age, originality and even though it is not cosmetically perfect, it does have a great look and a lot of charm. Once served a purpose in the American kitchens is now a wonderful rustic accent for your home décor.

Condition: Previously owned – used. Condition is consistent with age and use. Considered good to fair condition. Print on face of scale is still mostly visible and clear, with some having rubbed off or lightened over the years . Black paint on main body , platform and base is dulled and has peeled in places and exhibits some rusting in places as shown in pictures. Dial face is worn with areas of rusting and wear (as shown). Scale works and performs and can be adjusted with the in tact functional calibration if necessary. Platform is functional and showing similar signs of dulled paint and rusting .
