I am happy to coordinate freight pick up at the buyers request, but it had to be be coordinated through a shipping service provided by the buyer.
I believe the case is constructed primarily of mahogany and mahogany veneer, with substantial solid-wood moldings, columns and structural components.
The mechanical movement does not currently show a maker’s mark that I can positively identify.
The movement in this clock appears consistent with an antique German-style three-train weight-driven movement, but I am intentionally not attributing it to a specific movement manufacturer without a visible maker’s mark.

I do not have a key for this. So unfortunately, it will have to be rekeyed if the locking mechanism is desired.
Operating Condition
The clock does run and chime, and the chime has a strong, pleasant sound. The pendulum will eventually will stop swinging about after 5-10 minutes of running.
It has not been professionally serviced by me, and its previous service history is unknown.
Because this is an antique mechanical movement, I would recommend professional cleaning, lubrication and adjustment for optimal long-term operation.
The clock is therefore being represented as a running and chiming antique mechanical clock that may require service/adjustment, rather than as a recently restored or professionally serviced movement.

Moon-Phase Dial
The upper arch incorporates a traditional rotating lunar display with an approximately 29½-day scale, corresponding to the lunar month. The painted moon disc rotates through the arch to display the changing phase of the moon.
Condition
The clock presents very well overall for its age, with normal antique wear, finish marks and surface imperfections.
The most significant condition issue is a vertical split/crack in the upper bonnet/pediment above the dial, with localized finish and wood loss. This area is clearly shown in the photographs.
Additional minor scratches, finish wear, small edge marks and age-related imperfections are present throughout.
The three weights, pendulum, movement and chime assembly are present as photographed.
Please carefully review all photographs, which form an important part of the condition description.
Transportation
This is an exceptionally large and heavy antique clock measuring over seven feet tall.
The weights and pendulum must be removed before moving. Because the movement is sensitive to level and alignment, the clock will also need to be properly leveled and adjusted after transportation.
Local pickup is preferred, or the buyer may arrange an experienced furniture/antique-clock mover.
