One incredible piece and history from one of the world's premiere animation artists Ron Campbell (1939 -2021).A beautifully framed pair of a hand signed and hand pulled Giclee of Ringo Starr from Ron's "The Beatles Cartoons" series which ran as #1 for 4 consecutive years from its' inception on September 25, 1965, and a gold plated 45 rpm Capitol Beatles Yellow Submarine record. This fine pair is very well framed to a size of 22" x 16" and matted in black with white bevel trim and a sealed back. Also including optional and removable acrylic corner guards. Ron Campbell spanned 5 decades of premiere animation work as a true who's-who throughout the industry. Beginning in the 1950s with work on Beatle Bailey, Krazy Kat and Cool McCool. Of course, his 1960s work as animation artist and director of the #1 Beatles Cartoon Series and pursuant work on the Yellow Submarine Feature Film which are both featured in this collectable piece are perhaps his greatest renown work, yet still just scratched the surface of his illustrious career. Throughout the 70s and 80s working with Hanna - Barbera, he provided both direction, production and animation on many projects including The Smurfs, Flintstones, Jetson's, and Scooby Doo. The 90s brough a switch to include work with Disney that included Bonkers, Darkwing Duck, and Winnie-The-Pooh. The 90s also included work on Duckman and Rugrats. When Ron retired from active animation movie and television production he switched to creating animation art featuring his history of created projects with an emphasis on his Beatles animation art.
