What Is PSA Population? PSA Population refers to the total number of a specific trading card that has been graded by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) at a particular grade level. For example, if you're looking to buy a PSA 10, the Population Report shows how many others exist in that same condition, giving you an idea of its rarity and market value. A low population means fewer high-grade copies are available, while a high population suggests the card is more common in that grade. When evaluating a card for sale, reviewing the PSA Population Report helps you gauge its scarcity and determine how rare the mint version of that card truly is.
"Why does this graded card look wet on certain spots, inside the case?"It happens because the super shiny card is touching the inside of the plastic case. This contact causes an optical illusion that makes the card appear wet. It is not wet. It's a common optical illusion with graded chromium or prizm type cards and is completely normal. (Please see photos for a detailed explanation of this issue.) This card is currently being stored flat, right-side up, in a secure, dry, climate-controlled environment!
