This was an estate sale find, an autograph book with signatures by ROBERT MITCHUM, ROBERT RYAN, and LIZABETH SCOTT. The addressee was the daughter of a man who worked on the 1951 film THE RACKET, starring Mitchum, Ryan and Scott, and she was able to get signatures from both men.
The first page is signed by ROBERT MITCHUM (1917-1997) as "Bob" with a sweet inscription, "To Diane - With a little prayer everything you wish comes true".
The second page is signed by ROBERT RYAN (1909-1973), with the inscription "To Diane - My very best".
The third page is signed by actress LIZABETH SCOTT (1922-2015), with the inscription "To Diane - You have a wonderful father".
The fourth pages is signed by actor and television announcer RICHARD "DICK" LANE (1899-1982), who added his nickname, "Leather Britches", along with the inscription "To Diane - With every good wish."
The booklet measures 6" x 4.5". Please inquire with any questions!
