The product is a 12\" glass dome display featuring two real Blue Morpho Butterflies, handcrafted in the United States by New Life Creations. This unique piece showcases the beauty of the Morpho Menelous butterfly, making it a stunning addition to any collection of handmade items or insects. The mixed materials used in the creation of this display add a touch of artistry and elegance to the piece, making it a one-of-a-kind item for enthusiasts of entomology and butterfly collecting.
This beautiful display comes from my late mother’s personal collection. She lived in the historic Audubon Park neighborhood of Orlando, Florida, and collected unique natural history and decorative art pieces over the years.
Inside the approximately 12-inch glass cloche are two genuine Blue Morpho butterflies (Morpho menelaus) professionally arranged with natural driftwood, preserved botanicals, and decorative moss on a solid wood base. The original identification tag is included.
The butterflies retain their striking iridescent blue coloration that changes beautifully as the light moves across the wings, making this an eye-catching display from every angle.
