Rare Sargent 44 Floor Scraper Plane Excellent Condition Replaced Cutter For Sale

Here is a really nice hard to find Sargent No. 44 floor scraper. The plane retains almost all of the original rapining. The mahogany handle looks great with some sap wood highlights. The beech wood sole is held on the the base by brass screws that go through the base as you can see in the pictures. The cutter is marked Kunz W Germany . The cutter is a bit over 2 3/4 inches wide and 5/64ths thick.. The plane can take up to a 3 inch wide cutter. Ever with some modifications made over the years it is still an excellent example.
