John Morton was an original signer of the U.S. Declaration of Independence
I dug this out of the ground in Minneapolis Minnesota
Have owned and researched it for over ten years and have found this to be extremely rare and pretty much unidentifiable
Its made of copper
Estimated to over 100 years old
If YOU can give me any information on this it would be appreciated
This building ( The John Morton Memorial) is located in Philadelphia and preserves American Swedish history
I was told it’s a little more than a retail collectible , too big and heavy , would have been something much more rare and obtainable only by someone of importance at that time
I have considered sending it to them , but I reached out to them and they had no clue what it was and didn’t seem interested , so I’m seeing if anyone else is, or I can just keep it 🙂
Will be shipped quickly and packaged properly
Please see photos for best description and details
I have NO clue what this is worth and all respectable offers will be considered
