Rare,HUGE 7.25” Texas Fossil Ammonite, Placenticeras Sp “Ammolite” Iridescence For Sale

This beautiful and rare placenticeras ammonite (partial) was found in an Eagle Ford formation exposure in Denton County, Texas by a friend. The ammolite-like rainbow iridescence looks very similar to the placenticeras specimens from the northern USA & Canada locales.

Estimated age 90-100 million years old (upper cretaceous)
