Beautiful & Rare F.C. Varga Depositata Smooth Dublin Tobacco Pipe with Horn Stem 1890-1910
Although I could find little information on the maker, the use of Horn was commonly seen on pipes from Approximately 1890 to 1910.
And the \"Varga Depositata\" stamping, is probably Hungarian or possibly Italian.
The Chamber of this Rare Beauty is in Outstanding Lightly Smoked Condition.
The Horn Stem is Chatter Free and Sports a white dot inlay on the stem side, and features a unique Stinger design with a built-in Filter system.
Gorgeous Flame grain on one flank and Bird\'s Eye Grain opposite which continues along the shank top and bottom, and finished in Tan Near Natural stain.
