This is a Most Rare and Very Large Antique Two-Handled Wood Plane / Shave. It is (faintly) marked “D.R. Barton, 1882, Rochester, N.Y.”and stamped “JOS”. It measures approximately 17” in OAL x 5” deep x 2” tall, and has a 4 1/2” blade. It weighs in at a hefty approximately 3 1/2 pounds.
