Up for sale is this rare Royal Commemorative trinket box. It was made by Coalport China of England to commemorate the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. It comes in a bright white ground with a raised border design with blue, gold and red hand painted trim. The lid shows a sepia photograph of the Queen wearing her tiara. It was produced in two sizes with this being the larger. It measures 3-1/2\" in dia. x 1-5/8\" tall.It comes in excellent condition with no damage or signs of use.
