Rare Bulgarian Splinter Camo Border Guard Uniform. Full set with liners included. Size 176/104, approximately Medium-Regular US size and Large-Regular EU. Tags of legitimate production are included in the photos as proof of authenticity. Production is from the 80s approximately. This uniform is unique and quite rare because the zipper of the jacket is thicker than the commonly issued and cheaper later productions. It also features metal snap button closure on both the jacket and the pants instead of the usual cheap velcro closure. This set is a transitional piece and quite rare. There are factory quality control inked stamps (check photos). The jacket features 4 pockets and an additional large pocket on the back for storage. It also has two large loops for a belt. The pants have reinforced knees and seat, brass button closure on the cargo pockets and a unique double leg layer feature (check photos). They have 4 pockets, 2 hand pockets and 2 cargo ones. The hand pockets have been professionally repaired by a tailor and reinforced (check photos). The belt loops are wide and have buttons. The liner of the jacket is wool while the one on the pants is cotton. There are subtle signs of moth damage on the jacket liner (check photos) due to warehouse storage. One of the wool cuffs on the pants' legs has visible moth damage due to the same reason (check photos). Overall, a unique and rare vintage piece of Cold War history.
