Rare 1930s Alfred Dunhill Paris Savory Petrol Lighter Fab Suisse Art Deco

Rare vintage Alfred Dunhill Paris Savory semi-automatic petrol pocket lighter, Swiss made and dating from approximately the 1930s.
The lighter is marked Alfred Dunhill Paris and Fab. Suisse, with additional patent wording visible on the top. Comparable examples are documented with the marking “Mecan AD Savory Patent”.
The Savory was an early Dunhill semi-automatic petrol lighter manufactured in Switzerland. The model is associated with the mid-1930s and was also marketed under the “Handy” name outside France.
Attractive original Art Deco period construction with a dark aged metal finish and distinctive semi-automatic mechanism.
Condition: Vintage used condition with age-related surface wear, scratches, marks and patina as shown. Untested and sold as a collectible item; working condition is not guaranteed. Please study all photographs carefully.
I have not described the metal as sterling silver because no clear silver hallmark is visible in the supplied photographs.
