Brand: Wagner Ware
Model/Catalog Number: 709
Material: Cast Aluminum
Length: Approx. 11 inches
Production Era: 1920–1924 (First-Generation Block Logo)
Rare, authentic first-generation Wagner Ware cast aluminum flat cooking and serving spoon, catalog model #709. Made in Sidney, Ohio, this highly collectible piece features the elusive, early straight block lettering logo used only for a very brief window between 1920 and 1924, making it significantly older and scarcer than the common mid-century cursive "W" versions.
The spoon features a solid one-piece construction with a classic oval bowl, a flared handle, and an integrated hanging hole.
Good vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic aged matte patina. It shows honest signs of historical kitchen use, including light surface scratches and minor aluminum pitting as expected with a 100-year-old utensil. It has never been machine-washed or harshly polished, completely preserving its original historic integrity and crisp markings. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully.
An exceptional, hard-to-find addition for any serious Wagner Ware, Magnalite, or vintage Americana kitchen collector!
Ships safely and securely packaged to protect its historic finish. Please reach out with any questions prior to purchase.
