This is for random pull San Carlos Agate from Mexico. These have been hand graded by us to ensure quality cutting or cabbing material with great pattern and colors. Most sizes range from walnut sized to fist sized. Some smaller or larger ones may exist. If you are size sensitive, please be sure to check with us first and include a note within the order specifying the size you are seeking and we will do our best. The photos represent the actual grade but aren't exactly what you will get. To keep it fair, we cannot pick by color.
San Carlos Agate is a stunning moss agate from near San Carlos, Mexico. This is a somewhat newer discovery, with gorgeous rough just now hitting the market. So far with our cutting, we have been greatly enjoying this stone, as it has some well defined moss with gorgeous coloration and high contrast. It also appears it will take a nice polish and is often fairly solid.
Photos are taken with the stones wet. This helps you see their potential once polished.
All in this listing are random pull. One pound is often includes 1-3 chunks, but can sometimes be more or less. Larger than fist size is extremely rare, and we usually do not carry tumbling sized.
