The elevated street view is filled with period detail, including numerous early automobiles, busy traffic, pedestrians and crowds, historic storefronts and buildings, large rooftop and building advertisements, commercial signage, and the prominent Hotel Claridge sign. The photograph captures the dense, lively atmosphere of early Times Square and offers an excellent look at New York City street life, transportation, architecture, and advertising of the era.
