This is an interesting postcard! The image from the early 1900s was reproduced onto this photo postcard to advertise an upcoming program "Zeppelin, Zeppelin!". Mr. F.W. von Meister was associated with Germany's Zeppelin Airship Construction Co from 1928 to 1938, and he was scheduled to talk about the era of commercial rigid airships. The card is postmarked at Newark in 1974, and again in 1979 at Lakehurst Naval Air which is famous for the Hindenberg disaster.Posted. The image was reproduced onto a 1970s photo postcard; this is a real photo postcard with an older image. Slight curve as is common with a real photo postcard. Edge and corner wear consistent with a vintage postcard.
