This listing is for a rare factory built up studio box art model of the 1/25 \'59 Ford Galaxie Starliner produced by the now defunct Revell Models Co. in Morton Grove, IL.Model was professionally assembled and painted in 1988. It also appeared in the \'88 Revell/Monogram product catalog.Model is painted in a nearly flawless two tone red & black paint scheme and is very clean with great interior, engine details all in amazing condition! Guaranteed to be vintage original and authentic. I have had this stored in my collection for many years and now am downsizing so I am now passing it on to some lucky collector who willtreasure it as I have. I have shown a picture of the actual model kit production boxthe model was originally used for. The model was also used at the New Yorkand Chicago InternationalHobby shows as well. Photo/s showing views of the model are of the actual model in this listing. I am also including an extra kit as somehow, over the years the black retractible hardtop has gone missing. The extra kit has a new top if you decide to use it. The photos of the model actually show the black front tip of the hardtop (Which is removable). The retractiblehardtop trunkmechanismactually works but is very fragile so use care when using it. Also of note is the fact that not too many of thesekits were completed as they were quite achallenge to build, not to mention to this high level of quality.
