The motion is all over the tiger’s face, rippling and sort of flashing. The mechanism is in closed in the shadowbox, and works great other than IT MAKES A GRINDING NOISE that would definitely need attending to if you wanted to use the motion feature. Video link below. The tiger is a print or poster mounted behind a mirror. The frame is well made and in very nice condition. There’s handy sturdy metal carrying handles on top. Cord has an on/off switch.
