RARE Lot of (5) Random Black Celluloid Audio Cylinders for 1920s Talking Dolls For Sale

This product is a unique and extremely rare lot of (5) randomly pulled 1920's talking doll black celluloid phonograph type cylinders made by the Averill Company for various types of talking dolls from the 1920's. Made of cardboard wrapped in black celluloid, these vintage items were manufactured in the United States during the 1920s. These phonograph type cylinders would have been inserted into the back of the various talking dolls as pictured and then a crank would produce the audio of a song, nursery rhyme or voice. ** NOTE THAT THE DOLL PICTURED IS NOT INCLUDED - sale IS FOR THE 5 CYLINDERS ONLY!!
**NOTE** - These cylinders are EXTREMELY RARE as the cylinders were often lost or damaged. The doll pictures show what the doll looked like and how a turn crank in the back would initiate the sound for a song or nursery rhyme or talking dialogue. There are no markings on the cylinders as to what song/story/rhyme/etc is on them. You will get 5 randomly pulled cylinders from the 250+ pictured and these have NOT BEEN TESTED nor is there any guarantee that they will work in an actual talking doll. Also note that these are later models of cylinders that DID NOT require the finger hole plates on the inside to be able to remove them from the doll after use. Discount available for purchasing more than one lot of 5 - see pricing for details.

Please look at all the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
