This is a scarce early original Jeny Lind ribbed historical flask from the 1850s with Jenny misspelled with only one N....this calabash flask is grouped by Mc Kearin as GI-103 and is attributed to the Whitney Glass Works of Glassboro,NJ.... The front has a bust of Jenny Lind inside laurel wreaths with JENY . LINDbold emb arched over the top.... Back has a bold emb two story cabin with smoke curving down out of the chimney. Ribs around the rest of bottle..... Rough open pontil scar ......applied tapered collar....aqua.....round calabash ....10 1/4/\"tall... Sparkling attic nice condition with only an open bubble flake on a rib on back side; no other issues. A shiny clean attic bottle with no haze. I know with 100% certainty that this is an original 1850s bottle and is interesting to note that this \"JENY\" Lind calabash (with Jenny misspelled with only one \"N\") has never been reproduced.
