Rare set of four hand painted pottery coasters from Herend Hungary, marked on the back Herend Hungary – Village Pottery – Handpainted – Dishwasher and Microwave Safe. Each piece features a bold, vibrant folk art bird motif with beautiful color and expressive brushwork. One coaster includes a complementary blue swirl design, creating a charming coordinated set.
These are well made and substantial, not printed but truly hand painted, giving each piece a unique character. The Herend Hungary marking shows European studio pottery origin and distinguishes them from mass-produced coaster sets.
Perfect for collectors of European ceramics, Herend pottery enthusiasts, or anyone seeking artistic and functional tabletop décor.
Condition is very good with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface wear consistent with age and gentle use.
