These were promotional soft (but sturdy) cardboard drink coasters given out to VIDEO RENTAL stores only in Australia and certainly NOT FOR SALE to the public, to promote the rental release of JACKIE BROWN in 1997.
And if I’m wrong about that, and my memory is shot, they were just freebies found at the local cinema at the time. But I’m RIGHT. And either way, these are RARE as HEN’S TEETH.
I was there in 1997. Working in a video store at the time and I ended up with all sorts of this kind of promo stuff.
