UNUSED AND UNAPPLIED. Original vintage collectible sticker. Never applied or used. Listed as “Used” because does not provide an appropriate condition category for an unused vintage sticker with age-related condition issues. Offered is an originalvintage strip of five Teddy Ruxpin “FIRE SAFETY MEMBER” stickers, produced by AlchemyII, Inc. and dated © 1987. Each sticker carries the original identificationnumber 420463-00.

These unusualpromotional/educational stickers are associated with Teddy Ruxpin’s late-1980s FireSafety campaign and the Safe ’N’ Sound series. The corresponding Fire SafetyWith Teddy Ruxpin: Teddy’s Junior Fire Patrol story featured Teddy, Grubbyand the Fobs learning fire-safety rules and forming a Junior Fire Patrol. Thecharacters ultimately received fire helmets and badges as members of the FireSafety Team. Contemporary Teddy Ruxpin material also included programmingintended for use in connection with actual fire stations.

Each circular stickerdepicts Teddy Ruxpin wearing a firefighter’s helmet, surrounded by the words:

IMPORTANT CONDITIONINFORMATION

These stickers havesubstantial age-related wear.

There is visible yellowing,staining and discoloration, particularly around the cream-colored borders andbacking material. The original adhesive has also deteriorated considerably withage. These should be purchased as vintage collectibles and should NOT beexpected to function as normal adhesive stickers.

Despite the age-relatedcondition issues, the artwork remains strong and the original 1987 Alchemy IIcopyright and 420463-00 identification number are clearly visible.
