Signed on the bottom, “Vallona Starr California,” this ceramic yellow and green open mouth singing frog bud vase is in excellent to near-mint condition. This piece has a lot of character, as if the frog is professing his love by singing his heart out.
I originally got him to use as a toothbrush holder to inspire a smile each morning—but sadly, there isn’t enough room on my sink.
The only imperfections I can see are original (from the factory) green paint marks on his yellow belly and a tiny “beauty mark” on his lip, some nearly imperceptible surface crazing, and some white scaling on the base, ostensibly from hard water that I have not tried to remove (please see photos).
He measures 5” tall and 3-3/8” wide at elbows.
Feel free to ask any questions.
I usually ship same day or next business day.
From a smoke-free home with one kitty.
Also listed/to be listed: vintage pottery/ceramics, authentic American primitives, original paintings and one-of-a-kind antiques from around the world.
Many thanks for checking out my listing(s)!
