Original 1917 silver-gelatin prints photo. The subjects are the Philadelphia industrialist, genealogist, and avid golfer Winthrop Sargent(1853-1932) standing with his son, Fitzwilliam Sargent(1892-1955). Winthrop Sargent was highly involved in early American golf organization, serving as the chairman of the greens committee when the Merion Cricket Club built its world-famous championship golf course. His son, Fitzwilliam, was 24 years old at the time of this photograph. Overall very good image condition. Please refer to all the photos. This photos will be shipped in a box.
