\"RARE\"-R.Hollins & Co.,Boston,Mass. Antique c1870\'s- 1880\'s Original Oil Lamp- Pewter & Etched Glass.This lamp is almost 150 years old. This lamp is Rare- almost impossible to find another like this and in this condition. Made of what we believe to be pewter?,brass and at the time etched glass bulb to hold the oil. The etched glass bulb with cranberry accent on the top rim is not original to the lamp but makes the lamp just a little more interesting and beautiful. Felt pads have been applied to bottom of glass bulb where it meets the metal lamp to keep it from chipping. The knobs that regulate the wicks up and down into the glass dome have the name of the manufacture/Importer and where it was made. The base is made of metal. The design on the side is of a mans head in the neoclassical Victorian style. After 150 years old this lamp has held up very well to the point of being in EXCELLENT CONDITION! MEASURES: -With bulb - 25 1/2\" x 7 1/4\"-With chimney glass top dome 26 1/2\" x 6 1/4\" wide. PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE!
