Vintage Prismatic Instruments Selectra-Matic Gemstone Faceting Machine with B69A Base and H82R Faceting Head.
This vintage precision gemstone faceting machine was acquired from the estate of a lapidarist and is being offered in as-is, partially tested condition.
Testing & Condition:
* The motor has been tested and runs properly.
* The spindle rotates smoothly.
* The variable-speed controller has been tested and works well, allowing adjustment of the motor speed.
* The speed control assembly needs a retaining nut on the top side to secure it properly in position.
* The electronic LCD readout was briefly tested using a universal adjustable DC power supply. The display powered on at settings ranging from 3V to 12V and displayed numerical readings. The readings changed significantly at higher voltage settings. The correct operating voltage has not been verified, and the accuracy or proper operation of the electronic readout in relation to the faceting head is unknown.
* The analog signal-strength meter has not been tested or verified for proper operation.
* The faceting head and its various adjustments have not been fully tested for accuracy or functionality.
