Pre-Pro OBER BROS DEPARTMENT PITTSBURGH BREWING PA Beer Stein 1899-1904 Then E&O For Sale

Vintage pre-prohibition Ober Bros. Department, Pittsburgh Brewing Co., PA, beer stein. Heavy gray stoneware mug with light blue and white stripes across top and bottom, measures 6 inches tall and weighs just over 2 pounds before packaging. There are several different versions that were produced of this mug. Shows just slight age, but I would say it is in excellent condition, especially considering its age - over 120 years old. See pictures! Out of my personal collection. Postage $15.00.
In 1899 the Ober Bros. Brewing Company merged with the Pittsburgh Brewing Co. The plant closed in 1904 as operations were consolidated with the larger Eberhardt & Ober (E&O) plant. So, this would date this stein/mug.
